Shared Places is a community-focused urban design and placemaking studio based in Waterloo, Ontario. Founded in 2020, Shared Places has a simple mission: to reimagine physical space as a platform for connection, joy and inspiration by embracing nature and uncovering the untold stories around us.

The transformation of cities into equitable, beautiful and sustainable places can happen at any scale: from a quick intervention like a pollinator-friendly garden to visionary projects such as a supportive community master plan.
